The FGB-B static melter has been specifically designed to melt large blocks of cocoa mass, chocolate, compounds, cocoa butter and fats, weighing up to 1000 kg each. It is intended for the confectionery and food industries.
Its unique modular design allows for multiple melting stations to be placed side-by-side, enabling the simultaneous melting of several product blocks and increasing production capacity. Additional melting stations can be added as needed.
Each FGB-B melting station consists of a melting chamber, closed by a double-door, containing a heated tank for the melted product and a melting grid positioned above the tank. Two flows of hot water circulate through the grid at different, pre-set temperatures. The block is inserted, via a hoist, into the melting chamber above the hot grid. The contact area melts rapidly and drops into the tank below. Smaller solid flakes that pass through the grid complete their melting process inside the melting tank.
For increase product capacity, we can choose for add a second heated fusion grid, replacing the upper plate. This will allow the top of the large block to be melted as well, effectively doubling the production capacity.
