The K1 Series cocoa alkalisation plant is based on the processing of refined cocoa mass to which alkaline solutions are added, in order to prepare a product intended for pressing to obtain cocoa powders with a more or less intense colour.
The process is performed autonomously, from pick-up of the cocoa mass and of the alkaline solution, to processing and unloading. It can also be equipped with an automatic system for preparing the alkaline solution, which takes place separately in a heated and stirred tank, in which the quantities of water and reagent required by the recipe are dosed.
The line is designed for batch processing of the cocoa mass and the cycle duration varies according to the process parameters set. All parameters of the various recipes can be set on the touch-screen of the electrical panel and controlled by PLC.
